Curtis Gulledge Sr. is currently a well-sought-after international virtual vocal coach, music director, worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, and founder of C. Sharply Management in Orlando, Florida. He has coached over 1,000 singers of all ages in various genres from around the world. Just check out the Testimonials! Curtis graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in music and received his MA in Educational Leadership from the American Intercontinental University.
Curtis has not only worked extensively as a vocal coach but also as a K-12 music educator, music director for community theaters, vocal music workshop and master class clinician, and traveling Artist in Residence for several K-12 schools and universities. He is also a songwriter and arranger with over 100 songs for soloists, small groups, and choirs. Curtis debuted his original song “Every Day Keeps Getting Better” as a featured solo artist at Carnegie Hall in New York City with a 270-voice combined choir. The release of this single and the debut of his original composition “Swing Low” by the Unified Voices of Chicago has now resulted in his music being heard throughout the entire country. His experience also includes serving as a music director and guest artist performer at the University of Arkansas, guest clinician and guest artist for Brigham Young University (BYU), and guest artist for Kansas State University (K-State). Additionally, he has served as the music director for the Youth Production at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Curtis has recorded 2 solo albums and has recorded and performed with some of gospel music’s greats, such as Edwin Hawkins, Bishop Walter Hawkins, The Clark Sisters, and Kim Burrell. On numerous occasions, he has received awards for his amazing contributions to educating young people with his 100% positivity approach to making better people. He continues to use the C Sharply method of instruction to build confidence, enhance abilities, and encourage continual pursuit of greatness.
